We are getting closer!

Dear Competitor:
Congratulations on your application acceptance and good luck in your performances for the GOLD!

All rounds and Gala/Awards performance of the SILICON VALLEY INTERNATIONAL ART COMPETITION will be held at:
Visual & Performance Art Center of De Anza College

All art competitions and GALA/AWARD CEREMONY will be held on January 29th starting at 10:00 am... The exact placement of the performance for each competitor will be posted at the theater.  Listed below is a time frame for each round for the competition.   

The Martial Arts Competition will begin at 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and will be held at:
Chinese Performing Arts of America Culture & Arts Center

After the Martial Arts Competition is completed at, the winners and competitors will travel to the GALA/AWARD CEREMONY where the winners will perform at 4:00 pm (see time schedule below).

Please note the GALA PERFORMANCE.  All Gold winners will perform once again at the Gala Performance.  Their awards will be given to them after immediately after their second performance at the Gala starting at 4:30pm.  All winners of Gold will be announced to the performers shortly after the last round at 4:00 pm.
All other winners and competitors should be in street dressed.  They will be seated in the front of the auditorium for the awards performance and ceremony.  Silver and Bronze winners will be asked to come onto the stage to accept their award.

A competition Seven years in the making!


Silicon Valley International ARTS Competition 2012 (SVIAC) would like to invite you to enter our international event being held January 27, 28, 29, 2012. SVIAC is a San Jose, California based, open competition that is committed to widening the scope to cultural exchanges with artists of outstanding abilities in music and dance from throughout the world. This event will draw upon artists from all corners of the globe. Our original purpose 7 years ago, was to advance cultural exchanges between the United States and China. Today, it draws from countries throughout the world, through the competitions of piano, folk instruments, vocal, and dance talents. It provides a platform for the youth ages 10 and up of international talents to experience and participate in a wide variety of the performing arts while still allowing them to excel in their chosen field.
We are pleased to be holding our competition at the beautiful Visual and Performance Arts Center of De Anza College in Cupertino, California. The SVIAC It is presented by the Chinese Performing Arts of America Cultural Arts Center.
The competition provides an experienced, professional, production staff as well as a diverse group of nationally acclaimed adjudicators. We are devoted to providing a professional array of events from the Silicon Valley's home here in San Jose. We welcome the opportunity provide international talents to participate in our competition and look forward to providing you with a memorable competition experience! SVIAC is the first of its kind to provide a competition based in all the performing arts including piano, Folk Instruments (from the Silk Road countries), Vocal (Mandarin), Chinese Dance (folk or classical), Classical Ballet, and Contemporary Dance. Contestants will travel from as far as Iran, China, throughout The United States. Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards will be given in each category as well as $1,000.00 cash prize to the Grand Prix of each category. Trophies for all winners and Certificates will be award to all competitors.
